We have been been arranging loans since 1957 throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.When Eugene F. Foley (Gene) opened his small mortgage loan office on Lincoln Avenue in 1957, he had no idea of the enormous impact that his company would have on so many lives for so long. Gene arranged home loans for families, financed small businesses with real estate loans and offered income to grateful investors.Gene was a fixture on Lincoln Avenue in Willow Glen (San Jose) for more than 30 years. He was a community leader with a reputation of honesty and integrity. Gene knew almost everyone and was loved and respected. E. F. Foley & Co. flourished throughout the 60’s and 70’s, eventually incorporating in 1980. By 1989, E. F. Foley & Co., Inc. had outgrown its Willow Glen office and moved into a new office on The Alameda in San Jose. By then, Pam Foley, Gene’s daughter-in-law, had been working at E. F. Foley & Co., Inc. for several years as a loan officer.In 1993, after 36 years in business, Gene sold his company to Pam and his son Mike. Over the years, E. F. Foley & Co., Inc. has continued to grow and relocated a number of times on Hamilton Avenue, eventually making its way back home to Willow Glen. Pam (President & CEO) continued in Gene’s footsteps becoming a prominent and well-respected community figure. Elected to four terms on the School Board of San Jose Unified School District, Pam has also served as president of the San Jose Real Estate Board and is an active member in the Rotary Club of San Jose. She takes to heart the Rotary motto “Service Above Self”.After decades of being asked, “What does your company do?” Mike and Pam decided it was time for a change. In 2017, E. F. Foley & Co., Inc. began doing business as Foley Mortgage. Still owned by Pam & Mike Foley, Foley Mortgage is dedicated to fulfilling all of your financing and real estate needs.
